This is my last free ebook that I'll be posting to this blog. This includes 18 poems.
I do appreciate everyone for your support. I'll be taking a break from writing for the time being.
Until next time, take care!

No worries, people seem to say,
But that's all I seem to do, day after day.
No worries, I hear all the time,
As I try to come up with another rhyme.
No worries, yet again,
But where do I even begin?
No worries, I guess I'll have to get used to people saying,
I guess hey, it beats praying.

Every now, and then I'll play the lotto,
Every single time, I get the same answer,
Better Luck Next Time.
I play again, hope for the best,
So that I'll be able to get some rest.
But still the same answer,
Better Luck Next Time.
Perhaps the next one will be a winner,
Then I'll get a nice fancy dinner,
But still the same answer,
Better Luck Next Time.
I'll still keep playing every now, and then,
So that perhaps I'll be happy when,
The answer isn't,
Better Luck Next Time.

Just another day,
Eat, work, then too tired to play.
Just another day,
Trying to find the right words to say.
Just another day.

Calm, but cool,
Feeling free, no longer in school.
No more rules, no more fuss,
Just peace and quiet, just because.
Calm, but cool,
Living life by my own rule.
Bright days ahead, skies so blue,
Calm, but always cool.

Your daydreams, all positive, and light,
While mine, are as dark, as the night.
Your daydreams, fun with delight,
While mine, are filled with fright.
Your daydream, my bad dream,
Still I hope things are not as bad as they seem.

Penmonkey Blues,
I have every excuse.
To not do any writing today,
For there are no words left to say.
Penmonkey Blues,
My brain has blown it's fuse.
So many other things I could do,
Than spend my time writing for you.
Penmonkey Blues,
So many different views.
But still I do,
My writing for you.

I've decided that The Unknown Path, is going to be the last free e-book that I am doing. As I am going to start submitting poems, and short stories to other places for hopefully publication.
This way I am able to focus more on the writing and not have to worry about getting cover art, etc. Self-Publishing seems too much of a hassle/difficult for me.
Once I get up to 18 poems, I will release The Unknown Path on this blog. After that I will be doing short stories, and poems for submitting purposes. For awhile just to see how it goes. Short stories, and poems will be submitted to other places. I will post progress on if they get accepted or not and see how it goes for awhile.
If submitting stories, and poems doesn't go well, I will come back to posting them here on this blog.
I hope everyone has enjoyed my writings so far.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
~P.C. Snider
The Coffee is empty,
and so is my heart.
The Coffee is bitter,
and, I am still not a quitter.
Even though I've lost my spark.
The Coffee is dark,
Don't worry I won't bark.
The Coffee is empty,
and so is my heart.
But I'll keep moving forward,
Even though I'm falling apart.

This is a story that actually came to me in a dream. Anyway hope you all like it. I am considering this story a Flash Fiction story since it is under 1,000 words.
The Dream Car By P.C. Snider
Paul had lost his car. On top of that he was late for work! He had reached out to his boss Adam Whitaker, and his coworkers Devin Talltree, and Rob Murphy for help. They all had walkie-talkies to communicate to each other—if the car had been found. Each of them was going around to different parts of the city looking for it.
Paul was so worked up, and worried about losing his car. Full on panic mode pretty much. He kept pacing his apartment back, and forth his heart racing.
He reaches out to Adam first, “Hey boss, any luck finding my car?”
“That’s a negative buddy, but I found a new pub to hang out sometime!” he laughed as he took a big gulp of rum and coke. Instead of actually looking for the car. Adam couldn’t believe the pub was open in the morning.
Paul sighs.
He radios Rob next, “Hey Rob, any luck finding my car?”
“Negative buddy, walking the mall currently though! Sure is busy here. I looked in the parking lot for a bit though. No luck.”
Paul sighs. I’m never going to find my car... He thought.
Maybe Devin will have better luck. C’mon Devin!
He radios Devin. “Come in Devin, Come in Devin!”
First was silence, and static.
Then Paul could have sworn he heard some strange kissing sounds. He heard a woman giggling in the background.
“Devin, Devin!” Paul said.
“Oh sorry, Paul, no luck in finding your car. I did meet a girl named Anna! Man she’s awesome.”
“Hi Paul!” He heard her say.
Paul sighs, turns off the walkie-talkie, and sits in his apartment’s rocking chair, and starts to sob. He also wonders where Devin had met Anna, and still wonders where his car had gone.
#
“My car is gone! My car is gone!!!!” Paul said.
“Paul, Paul! Wake up Paul!” Adam was shaking him awake.
Paul groans as he wakes up, and looks around, he was at work the whole time! Apparently he had fallen asleep in the Cafeteria, and was having a bad dream.
He looked out the Cafeteria’s window to the right and his car was sitting in the parking lot the whole time.

Beetlejuice does his pranks,
The Ninja Turtles fight.
Hong Kong Phooey stops criminals robbing banks,
Mighty Mouse tests all of his might.
Inspector Gadget, Looney Tunes as well,
At least I might as well have fun,
Still living in hell.
Scooby-Doo and the gang, solving every clue,
The Real Ghostbusters, chasing ghosts, to save me, and you!
Saturday Morning Cartoons, I'd like to thank you,
For all the fun, happy times, that I hope are still true.
The songs and memories, will never fade,
Even when I turn old, and grey.

Another Monday,
Yeah yeah.
Another Monday,
Blah Blah Blah.
Weekend is gone, within a blink of an eye,
Why I ask...? Why?
Dreams of bed, still linger on,
Waking up just seems like a con.
Still I'll put on my shoes,
Fighting these Monday Morning Blues.

Some days, all I want to do is sleep,
It helps prevent my weep.
I'm tired, boss,
More than words can keep.

In my apartment, I watch TV all day,
Watching Home Alone, yay!
Living alone, and I’m okay,
Not great, but it’s my stay.
I choose what to eat, day after day,
And words I say.
I love my bed when I sleep all day,
It keeps my worries away.

All I got is Coffee on my mind,
It seems to be the only thing I can find.
When in doubt just get a Coffee,
Maybe drink it under the park tree.
When the Coffee first hits,
Be careful, your brain might get the fritz.
Jitters will take over your body,
But don't worry you'll find another hobby.

Another blank page,
Staring at it hours on end.
Time and space,
Just seems to bend.
Trying to come up with the words to say,
But time continues on throughout the day.
No words written, distracted by noise,
With the endless options given by toys.
The cursor blinks on and off,
Over and over until I scoff.
"Time to give up", the brain seems to say,
I will still try throughout the day.
Writer's block taunts me sometimes,
With me just trying to come up with a rhyme.
Some days are easier, some are not,
But I just can't seem to figure out the plot.
Maybe take a break, a walk, clear the head,
Then maybe I'll get further ahead.
Maybe take a breath, or two,
And then perhaps... I'll have some words for you.
